*Spots beneath Peanut's skin mark where his/her eyes will form.
*While Peanut's head has been bent forwards, it is beginning to straighten out, as well as the rest of the body. Peanut's head is almost as large as the rest of his/her body.
*Peanut's neural tube closed over his/her spinal canal, and the nervous system has begun to develop.
*There are 12 rows of cells forming across Peanut's body that will eventually become his/her ribs.
*Peanut has doubled in length since last week and is now 1/2 inch. Peanut weighs 1 milligram - about the weight of a small eyelash.
Update on Mom...I have been feeling good, although I have been more tired than usual. The dizzy spells have subsided. I'm lucky to not have had any vomiting yet, but I have had a little nausea in the past few days. Apparently Peanut does not care for Papa John's pizza because I was sick last night after eating it. The first doctor's appointment is in less than a week, and we are so excited!
